Job SummaryThe CRNFA will work under the supervision of surgeons, assisting in operations and providing exceptional patient care. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring patient safety.
- Coordinate patient positioning, using body stabilizing equipment to provide optimal exposure.
- Prepare and apply sterile wound dressings, sutures, and other materials to close skin and tissue layers.
- Discuss surgical procedures with surgeons, including operative consent, diagnostic data, and patient directives.
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs and blood volume, during operations.
- Assist with patient resuscitation during cardiac arrest or other life-threatening events.
- Minimum two years' experience working in an ambulatory or surgical setting.
- Ability to function in a high-stress, physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures, including HIPAA confidentiality and infection control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and empathize with patients.
The physical demands of this role include frequent use of hands and fingers, handling of objects, tools, and controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation:$55.00 per hour
