Pediatric Nursing Assistant Job Description

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Pediatric In-Patient unit. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various service duties and routine technical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Consider the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations.
  • Present a positive and professional image to represent nursing and the organization.
  • Follow the care plan as established and delegated by the Registered Nurse.
  • Identify resources necessary for safe delivery of patient care.
  • Identify and report malfunctioning/expired equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately.

Requirements:

  • One year of current experience in a hospital environment with strong computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English in order to communicate effectively.
  • Prior experience working with the pediatric population in a hospital setting is strongly preferred.
