Role Summary:

The Housekeeping Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in the Housekeeping department, managing essential administrative tasks that ensure our operations run smoothly. This position collaborates closely with the Housekeeping management team to facilitate the effective functioning of the department. Responsibilities include overseeing timekeeping, payroll processes, onboarding of new staff, managing key access, and maintaining inventory of uniforms and equipment. The successful candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. This is a full-time, year-round role with eligibility for benefits.

Compensation: Starting at $24.00/hr. + DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor time and attendance records for staff and contracted personnel
  • Manage inventory of uniforms and equipment (e.g., radios)
  • Administer key access assignments
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding updates and operational changes
  • Document notes during departmental meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or resort operations - preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in an office or administrative role - preferred
  • Conversational Spanish proficiency - preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite - preferred
  • Experience with ALICE hotel management software - preferred
  • Proficient in written and spoken English - required
