Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients, verify insurance information, and accurately code diagnoses and procedures.
  • Process payments, manage cash drawers, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist patients with questions and concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and mail processing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • No prior experience necessary; multi-specialty group practice setting experience a plus.
  • Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding a plus.
Work Environment

This is a non-management role that reports to a supervisor or manager. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
