About the Role

At Alexander & Schmidt, we are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Loss Control Field Representative to join our team. As an Insurance Loss Control Field Representative, you will be responsible for conducting on-site property, general liability, and incidental auto inspections to prepare reports for insurance underwriting purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough property and casualty inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for insurance underwriting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance companies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in loss control.
  • Travel within a reasonable territory to conduct inspections and meet with clients.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial insurance loss control or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property and casualty lines, including property, general liability, auto, and workers' compensation.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to upload reports and photos through a special website or web-based systems.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, OHST, ALCM, and/or ARM are preferred but not required.
