Job Summary

The Human Resources Administrator at Lancaster General Health plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills to manage various HR tasks, including system management, payroll support, compliance, and interdepartmental coordination. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proficient in multiple HR systems, and capable of navigating the challenges of manual processes while continuously seeking improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee records in Pennfor, including processing payments of PTB and Holiday time due to employment actions.
  • Run reports and perform manual data entry as needed.
  • Assist PennFor users with system questions and acclimations to various modules.
  • Send files to payroll via email to set up recurring time records.
  • Assist managers with entering interim pay or special incentives.
  • Send template emails and launch Survey Monkey questionnaires to employees' managers for completion.
  • Assist in collecting and organizing feedback for performance evaluations or other HR processes.
  • Submit tickets to HRIS for proxy access requests, providing necessary details such as who needs access, specific roles, duration, and rationale.
  • Run Open Requisition reports for managers to assist with FTE reconciliation and budgeting.
  • Assist recruiters and hiring managers with the job posting process as needed.
  • Run I9 validation through e-Verify.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports as necessary.
  • Assist in creating data visualizations for HR presentations.
  • Retrieve data from Workday archive, as necessary.
  • Assist manager in the completion of Pennfor identified tasks. Coordinates and communicates effectively with managers to ensure completion.
  • Liaise with HRIS, Payroll, and other relevant departments for system-related tasks.
  • Identify areas for process improvement, particularly in manual processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing solutions to streamline HR operations.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Three years' experience providing direct administrative support.
  • Excellent computer skills, including intermediate to advanced level of experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in a complimentary field.
  • More than three years' experience providing direct administrative support and the ability to perform functions independently.
