About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Pharmacy Professional, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, making recommendations for therapy changes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient/resident databases, including current and past medical history, clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medications.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support, ensuring seamless communication and documentation.
  • Implement policies and procedures for the safe procurement, storage, distribution, and use of drugs and biologicals.
  • Assist facility/agency staff with procedures related to safe and effective methods of procuring, maintaining, administering, and disposing of drugs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; Pharm D preferred.
  • One year experience in a hospital setting.
  • Licenses/Certifications: As required by government regulations and business needs.
  • Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, and excellent oral communication skills.
