Job Summary

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in providing quality patient care as delegated by physicians and mid-level practitioners. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide practical nursing care to patients, adhering to clinical and nursing standards.

Requirements
  • Currently licensed as a Vocational Nurse (LVN) by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas or hold a current Texas permit.
  • Minimum of six months experience working as an LVN, with one year of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities desirable but not mandatory.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required upon hire or transfer to department.
