Job Summary

At ContinueCare Hospital at Odessa, Inc, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a PRN (per diem) nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients of all ages, from 18 years to geriatric, in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LVN, CNA/PCA, and other patient care team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians and personnel from other departments to promote teamwork and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that take into account the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest nursing practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Unrestricted RN license.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ACLS preferred.
  • Acute care experience required, critical care experience preferred.
