Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Medical Center Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial patient triage and registration services, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information.
  • Assist with direct patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and basic medical procedures.
  • Perform specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required; certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant program (Associate Degree/Ladder Curriculum) preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required; bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, sustained long periods of standing, and walking.
