At Southwest Human Development, we're dedicated to empowering young children and their caregivers to reach their full potential. As a Developmental Specialist - Autism, you'll play a vital role in promoting child health and development, making a lasting impact on the lives of Arizona's children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive services to support young children with autism, neurodiversity, and sensory challenges.
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and provide DIRFloortime intervention services to promote play, emotional, and social development.
  • Administer and interpret assessment tools to inform developmentally appropriate SMART goals.
  • Collaborate with families to develop Integrated Care Plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • Facilitate Child Family Team meetings and coordinate care with other service providers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Masters in Special Education or related field, preferred.
  • DIRFloortime Advanced certification.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
