Key Responsibilities:

As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A), your day will primarily involve utilizing your strong communication abilities to engage with a diverse group of students, educators, specialists, parents, and colleagues to positively impact the children you support.

You will deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services tailored to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans. Your role will include:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Analyzing results and compiling reports
  • Identifying strengths and areas for improvement in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills

To facilitate students' overall educational progress, you will assist in formulating treatment plans (IEPs/504 plans). Helping students achieve success in school and beyond through speech-language therapy is a fulfilling career path that offers variety and engagement.
