Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse I to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a Registered Nurse I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Provide safe and effective patient care by using best practices during hand-off communication and when reporting patient care information.
  • Clinical Assessments: Perform and document systematic assessments according to established criteria.
  • Caring & Code of Conduct: Develop and maintain a professional and personable relationship with patients, families, and staff.
  • Critical Thinking: Utilize theoretical knowledge base to operationalize care.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and complete documentation reflecting adherence to hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  • Population Specific Competency: Complete population-specific mandatory education competencies as defined by the unit-specific scope of service.
  • Evidenced-Based Practice & Research: Practice is consistent with Northern Light Health policy and procedures.
  • Leadership and Professional Conduct: Utilize appropriate time management and meet expectations for punctuality and attendance.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Implement the plan of care and identify resources to meet patient care needs.
  • Resource Management: Utilize available resources in an appropriate manner and seek assistance when needed.
  • Professional Development: Take responsibility for meeting education and mandatory programs.
  • Performance Improvement: Demonstrate and articulate awareness of performance improvement initiatives.
