Oaks Integrated Care Inc. is looking for a committed Clinical Nurse Specialist to become part of our dedicated staff at a residential group home. In this position, you will engage with children aged 5-12 who are transitioning from psychiatric care.
Essential Qualifications:
- Understanding of psychotropic medications
- Insight into child development and necessary treatment modalities
- Capability to educate staff on medication management
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee medical services and schedule appointments
- Administer medication and provide urgent medical assistance
- Verify physician directives and laboratory requisitions
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and offer medication guidance
- Keep comprehensive records
- Be available around the clock for emergencies
