Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and established policies.
  • Maintain the quality of facilities to meet or exceed standards.
  • Perform repairs and upkeep of the physical structures.
  • Manage cleanliness of roofs, gutters, and drains.
  • Assist with moving materials and general maintenance tasks.
  • Remove debris and assist in the disposal of unusable items.
  • Transport parts, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Operate snow removal equipment and maintain outdoor areas.
  • Conduct landscaping repairs and installations, including planting.
  • Perform plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Engage in welding and fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record.
  • Conduct daily cleanup of all properties.
  • Pressure wash entryways and maintain cleanliness on a weekly basis.

Supervisory Role: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: One-year certificate from a college or technical school.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of specialized experience in maintenance or a related field.

Skills:

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in problem-solving under pressure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • Certification for forklift operation is necessary.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems is preferred.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills for detailed information exchange.
  • Capability to perform repetitive movements and tasks.
  • Ability to navigate various physical environments, including stairs and ramps.

Work Environment: The role may involve exposure to tobacco smoke, mechanical parts, and varying environmental conditions. The noise level is typically moderate.
