Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with various maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and established policies.
  • Maintaining the quality of facilities to meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Conducting repairs and upkeep of the physical structures.
  • Managing cleanliness of roofs, gutters, and drains.
  • Assisting with material movement and maintenance duties.
  • Removing debris and managing waste disposal.
  • Transporting parts, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Operating snow removal equipment and maintaining outdoor areas.
  • Performing landscaping tasks, including planting and irrigation system maintenance.
  • Executing plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Welding and fabricating necessary components.
  • Maintaining a reliable attendance record.
  • Participating in internal review hearings as needed.
  • Conducting regular cleaning of all property entrances and common areas.
Qualifications

Education:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A one-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.

Experience:
• At least one year of specialized experience in maintenance or a related field.

Skills:
• Ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues and the public.
• Proficient in problem-solving under pressure.

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
• Valid Washington or Idaho State Driver's License required while operating a Tribal vehicle.
• Certification for forklift operation is necessary.
• Proficient in data entry and maintenance management systems.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and involves various physical activities, including:

  • Receiving detailed information through oral communication.
  • Repetitive movements of the hands and wrists.
  • Walking and moving about to complete tasks.
  • Occasional standing or sitting for extended periods.
  • Ascending or descending stairs.
Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to tobacco smoke, mechanical parts, and varying environmental conditions. The work environment typically features moderate noise levels.
