Job Overview

The AdvantaClean Field Technician plays a crucial role in providing essential services such as mold remediation, air duct and dryer vent cleaning, HVAC coil maintenance, emergency water damage recovery, and the installation of moisture control systems in residential and commercial properties.

Field Technicians operate under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Crew Supervisor, or Project Manager, contributing to a collaborative team environment. The Supervisor delegates various responsibilities to the technician as part of the project workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct light demolition and removal of finished building materials.
  • Perform project cleanup, including bagging and transporting debris to designated collection areas.
  • Utilize water extraction equipment to remove standing water from affected structures.
  • Engage in detailed cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, brushing, and damp wiping surfaces and contents.
  • Install plastic barriers using mechanical fasteners, tape, and adhesives.
  • Set up and adjust equipment for effective drying and filtration processes.
  • Clean HVAC, air duct, and exhaust systems using specialized vacuums and tools.
  • Execute tasks that may require squatting, crawling, and ladder work to access all areas.
  • Demonstrate safe operation of power tools, including drills and saws.
  • Adhere to safe lifting, pushing, pulling, and ladder-climbing practices.
  • Follow proper chemical storage, labeling, and usage protocols.
Qualifications:
  • No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Experience in home services or construction is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with residential and/or commercial construction practices is a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent customer service abilities are required.
  • Basic knowledge of PC operations is beneficial.
  • Professional appearance is expected.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
