The Sonographer Specialist is responsible for conducting ultrasound assessments as per medical directives, utilizing advanced ultrasound technology while considering the unique needs of each patient, including their age and specific circumstances.

This department is currently seeking both full-time and on-call staff, with flexibility to accommodate your scheduling preferences.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educational background to fulfill certification, licensing, or registration prerequisites.
  • Eligibility for certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license upon employment.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon employment.
  • National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required within 6 months of employment.
  • New graduates must be board-eligible and secure certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of employment. New graduates should possess an OBMI temporary license and achieve a permanent license within 6 months of employment.
  • Preferred: 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in OBGYN sonography.
