Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Oregon City, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures using advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Assist patients with transportation and provide support during exams.
- Enter data accurately and maintain patient records.
- Restock supplies, clean equipment, and perform quality assurance tasks.
- Participate in on-call or standby schedules as required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, such as ultrasound or medical imaging.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Registration as a Cardiac Sonographer within 12 months of hire from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Sonography Technologist License (Oregon) required.
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
- Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
