Position Overview

Medical Laboratory Technologist - Travel Position

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts laboratory tests and analyses to support clinical investigations.
  • Ensures accurate specimen handling and processing in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintains high standards of quality control by performing routine equipment checks and calibrations.
  • Acts as a resource for laboratory staff by providing training and guidance.
  • Identifies and reports any abnormal findings to supervisory personnel promptly.
  • Performs blood typing and compatibility testing to ensure safe transfusions.
  • Contributes to a secure environment for patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Upholds patient confidentiality by safeguarding laboratory information.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant laboratory experience is required.
  • Possession of a valid state license is necessary.
