About the Role:

Host Healthcare is a leading provider of travel healthcare services, and we are currently seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, which are essential for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology, and microbiology.
  • Collect and process blood and other biological specimens for testing.
  • Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.
  • Interpret test results and report them to healthcare providers.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
