Job Summary

We're seeking a Part-Time Field Sales/Outside Sales Representative to acquire new Starry subscribers and drive success in multi-family residential properties, communities, and condos through door-to-door activity and in-person events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate and educate potential customers about Starry's features and benefits, primarily in the outer boroughs of NYC (Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx)
  • Attend Starry marketing events as needed
  • Spread the word about Starry's affordable, high-speed, reliable internet service and excellent customer service
  • Meet and exceed sales goals, identifying potential sales, product, technical, or customer care issues and addressing them with local teams
  • Identify, source, and attend potential subscriber acquisition opportunities to achieve revenue goals
  • Respond to and close sales leads as needed daily
Requirements
  • Previous experience in door-to-door sales
  • Positive, upbeat personality with no fear of talking to strangers
  • Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and problem-solving mentality
  • Ability to help guide consumer decision-making processes, close sales, and help prospects choose Starry over other internet provider alternatives
  • Willingness to travel in and around the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens
  • Ability to primarily work scheduled weekday afternoons and evenings (2-8pm) and weekends; variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish), fluent in both languages
  • This position requires a form of reliable transportation to get to and from different work locations
