About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex MRI procedures to produce high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialize in performing routine and complex MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality images are produced.
  • Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Position patients and utilize equipment to capture images requested by physicians.
  • Administer medications within scope of practice as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure.
  • Maintain documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats.
  • Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment.
  • Assist other areas of radiology as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
  • Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in radiology.
