We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at McLaren Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex MRI procedures to produce high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure proper function.
- Position patients and utilize equipment to capture requested images.
- Administer medications within scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and records in paper and electronic formats.
- Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance checks on imaging equipment.
- Assist other areas of radiology as assigned.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
- Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Current BLS certification.
- Associate degree in radiology.
