Job Summary:

At Lake Huron Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. You will position patients and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Position patients and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• Process and transmit Images to PACS.

Qualifications:

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• Proficient computer skills.
