Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regional Clinical Scheduler to join our team at the Medical University of South Carolina. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for performing patient scheduling functions and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient scheduling functions, including checking patients in and out, and managing patient flow.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinical operations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and schedules.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in patient scheduling or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
