Position Overview
The role of Financial Analyst is situated within our Infectious Disease Developed Markets unit. In this capacity, you will manage numerous daily and month-end closing tasks within the finance department, with a particular emphasis on fixed asset accounting. This position will support diverse accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, process enhancements, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn and develop within a dynamic organization while demonstrating independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily accounting tasks, such as account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance, along with other assigned duties.
- Conduct month-end closing procedures, including fixed asset additions, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and general ledger account reconciliation, while maintaining supporting documentation.
- Ensure comprehensive, documented reconciliations for all assigned general ledger accounts.
- Assist with account inquiries and fluctuations during month-end accounting reviews.
- Oversee all aspects of Fixed Assets and Construction in Process, maintaining the fixed asset database, including additions, disposals, and reporting, while performing physical asset verifications.
- Monitor daily bank account activities, recording all incoming and outgoing transactions.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint).

The base salary for this position is $64,000.00 to $128,000.00, with variations based on specific locations.
