We are seeking an experienced functional consultant with a background in Workday HCM, Workday Skills Cloud, and Workday Talent Optimization implementations. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle Workday HCM implementation experience and will be comfortable working with leaders in HR, Finance, and other administrative functions to design and implement talent management solutions.

Project Scope and Preliminary Timing:
  • Client recently acquired Workday's Talent Optimization solution, and we plan to begin rolling out tools for supervisors and their employees via pilot projects with administrative functions.
  • Prior to rolling out Talent Optimization tools, Client will activate Workday Skills Cloud and work with pilot groups to apply the Skills Cloud framework to job profiles, employee data, and related feature and functions in Workday.
  • Client internal analytics teams will simultaneously create Tableau dashboards using Skills data to facilitate leadership-level organizational reporting based on skills.
Required Experience:
  • Workday HCM: 5+ years of experience with design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and solution roll-out.
  • Workday Skills Cloud: 3+ years of experience and multiple implementations, including mapping of Skills Cloud data to job profiles, implementation of Skills dashboards or related reporting solutions, and familiarity with change management and/or training approaches for Skills Cloud tools and data.
  • Workday Talent Optimization: Experience with the design, configuration, testing, and roll-out features and business processes, including but not limited to the following: Career Profiles, Career Hub/Career Pathing tools, Manager Insights Hub, and Succession Planning and/or talent pipeline.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience implementing Skills Cloud and/or Talent Optimization tools.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience configuring Workday HCM and Talent Optimization offerings.
  • Deep experience facilitating design and testing exercises relative to Talent Optimization and Workday Skills solutions.
Preferred Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Workday business processes across Workday HCM that can be affected by the usage of the Workday Skills Cloud framework.
  • Understanding of Workday's security model.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
