Position Overview

As an Electrical and Electronics Maintenance Specialist, your primary role will involve the upkeep and repair of plant instrumentation and control systems. This includes both preventive maintenance and urgent repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on equipment such as generator instrumentation, DCS, and PLC systems, with a focus on Bailey Network 90 systems, combustion control systems, alarms, recorders, and transmitters.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborate with other maintenance and operational staff as necessary.
  • Independently troubleshoot complex electronic control systems down to the individual circuit board and component level.
  • Perform various tasks to meet operational and maintenance needs, including maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Adhere to safe work practices as outlined in the company's Safety Manual, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Be prepared to work overtime to accommodate operational needs, including covering for absences.
  • Assist in training personnel unfamiliar with plant operations to enhance their skills.
  • Complete administrative tasks as required by the Maintenance Management system.
Additional Information
  • This position requires daily attendance at the worksite.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is necessary, as driving a company vehicle may be required.
  • Willingness to comply with all company ethics and safety policies is essential.
  • Expect to work outdoors approximately 20% of the time, with exposure to various weather conditions.
Compensation Details

Hourly Rate: $60.91 USD

This role is part of a bargaining unit represented by IUOE- Local 30, with employment terms governed by a collective bargaining agreement.

Compensation may vary based on factors such as geography, experience, and education.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for call-out pay.
