Position: HVAC Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Facility Manager to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems. The role involves addressing customer concerns regarding HVAC systems and performing essential maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the Facility Manager to assess service requirements and address operational issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance duties, including setup and rearrangement of furniture and equipment.
  • Handle minor electrical tasks such as replacing light fixtures and ballasts.
  • Execute various corrective maintenance requests, including repairs to flooring, walls, and furniture.
  • Participate in the collection and disposal of universal waste materials.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and operation of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: 2-4 years in HVAC and facility maintenance.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid US driver's license; Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain; EPA-approved CFC certification required.

Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and safety guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate tasks with subcontractors.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $33 to $38, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
