Job Title: Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at Koniag Government Services. As a Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing direct care and supervision to unaccompanied children ages 13-17 years old.

Job Summary:

The Clinician will be responsible for providing individual and group therapeutic interventions, using an integrated health approach, to facilitate personal growth, skill building, and identification of natural supports and community resources. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a related field, with clinical experience in the program. The Clinician will work in collaboration with children and other providers to implement plans, provide assertive outreach, advocacy, support, and follow-up, and document all services provided in accordance with identified frequency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist children with developing their Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and provide wellness consultation.
  • Provide ongoing case management services for assigned service recipients, including assessment, planning, linking, monitoring, referral, and advocacy.
  • Assist children with specific, identified physical health conditions and needs to connect and collaborate with primary care, specialty care, and other care delivery systems.
  • Provide transportation assistance to help children achieve and maintain wellness goals and initiatives.
  • Assist clients in building a natural support team and integrate natural community supports/resources into the personal growth planning process and service delivery process.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work or a related field with clinical experience in the program.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Working Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
