Position Overview
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding customers through their vehicle purchasing journey, providing insights into available models, and ensuring a satisfying buying experience. Your passion for vehicles and outstanding communication abilities will be vital to the success of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner to identify their needs and preferences for suitable vehicle recommendations.
- Facilitate test drives to demonstrate vehicle features and performance.
- Remain informed about the specifications, features, and pricing of all vehicle models to deliver accurate and comprehensive information to customers.
- Assist customers throughout the sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and trade-in evaluations.
- Negotiate and finalize sales agreements transparently and in a customer-friendly manner.
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with fellow sales team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Engage in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Work towards achieving both individual and team sales objectives.
- Employ effective sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Prior sales experience in a commission-based or target-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for vehicles and a commitment to assisting customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All candidates must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment assessments, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, and valid driver license verification.
- Previous experience in automotive sales.
- Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
Compensation Structure:
*The Sales Consultant position features a compensation structure that includes a Base Monthly Draw of $2,500, along with commission earnings based on the value of closed sales, with no upper limit based on performance. Additionally, there may be production bonuses based on individual or team performance, with no fixed upper limit.*
Work Schedule:
- Full-time
- 5 days a week
- Off on Sundays and one weekday
