Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to join our Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit at Newport Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities and operations of the department, ensuring adequate staffing levels and the most efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience in adolescents, emergency, and/or behavioral health settings.
  • Certification in Nursing Administration and/or specialty with 18 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
