Office Manager

At JTH Tax, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our tax preparation offices in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Office Operations Management: Manage the daily operations of the tax preparation office, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Recruit, train, and develop office staff, fostering a culture of customer service and continuous improvement.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies within the office.
- Financial Management: Manage office budgets, closely monitoring financial performance and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Office Management: Proficient in office management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Tax Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of relevant tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Certifications: Must have PTIN or eligible to receive, and upon hire, must be able to obtain CTEC Certification through the State of California.
- Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within the tax preparation or financial services industry.
