Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Utilize your expertise in scientific principles and theories to design and conduct experiments, developing solutions to complex problems and improving product yield and minimizing production costs.
  • Experimentation and Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from development batches, providing process development reports and technical transfer reports to support the growth of our business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, OpEx, and QA, to ensure the efficient progress of projects and prepare robust manufacturing records, technical reports, and SOPs.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to resolve challenges associated with full-scale commercial production, applying engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or materials sciences fundamentals to model the product and process.
  • Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor new employees within the department, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understand and comply with all Company safety, environmental, and quality practices and procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Engineering or Natural Sciences required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of cGMP, sterile manufacturing techniques, and statistical process control.
