Program Specialist 3 Role in Behavioral Health Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Program Specialist 3 to join our team in the Behavioral Health Administration. As a Program Specialist 3, you will play a critical role in transforming lives by providing support to patients with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to assist patients in achieving their treatment goals.
  • Conduct substance use disorder assessments to clarify potential diagnoses and ascertain the level of services patients need upon discharge.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to develop treatment plans that address the specific substance-related needs of patients.

Requirements:

  • Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDP-T) certification.
  • Verbal and written communication effectiveness.
  • Ability to ensure and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Computer expertise.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in the content of work produced.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize workload.
