Adecco US, Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join their team in Lakewood, NJ. This is a two-week assignment with a competitive hourly rate of $23.00.

**Responsibilities:**

The successful candidate will serve as a receptionist at the front desk, providing high-level administrative and business support to the Plant Manager and Plant Leadership Team. Key responsibilities include:

Greeting and receiving visitors, providing information on business matters as needed

Ensuring accuracy of own work and work prepared by others for submission to high levels of the organization

Taking initiative to develop solutions and drive process improvements

Applying detailed knowledge of the segment of work for which principals are responsible and of the operation, the organization, and its policies and procedures

Researching and analyzing subject matter for the Plant Manager, Plant Leadership Team, and HR Department

Applying high-level PC application skills, including word processing, development of spreadsheets and databases, and presentation of graphic materials

Exercising judgment with respect to urgency, confidential information, and potential problems

Maintaining and updating weekly, monthly, and annual system data and reports

Maintaining and updating documents required for Plant monthly meetings

Managing plant tour requests, office supply management, bulletin board and file maintenance, employee communications, PAC committee service

Acting as a backup for the T&D Manager for new hires onboarding and training as needed

Helping coordinate activities for employee rewards and recognition and employee engagement

Providing employee customer service, processing incoming mail, screening, and directing telephone calls

Supporting plant PLT on special projects and administrative needs

**Requirements:**

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative and/or business support role

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Experience preparing spreadsheets, charts, and graphs

Experience creating presentations

Aptitude for learning new job-specific computer systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing work demands, plan and organize work to meet scheduled deadlines

Well-developed organizational skills, including paper and electronic filing systems

Strong customer focus with an approachable and helpful demeanor

Experience being proactive and timely in responding to requests

Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in all work

Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential material and information

Professional, positive, service-oriented behavior in all interactions

Ability to anticipate and initiate cyclical activities

Proven complex problem-solving and independent judgment abilities

Ability to complete projects with limited supervision
