Position Summary:
The Patient Care Assistant plays a vital role in delivering routine care to enhance patient comfort and support the overall care plan. This role involves continuous patient data collection and documentation, contributing to the efficient functioning of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with basic hygiene and mobility needs.
- Collect vital signs and other essential patient data, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Report any changes in patient health status to licensed professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all supplies are readily available.
- Support medical staff during procedures and assist in transporting patient specimens.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and current BLS certification are mandatory.
- Must possess one of the following credentials:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-IV)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical or clinical setting, ideally within a hospital or outpatient center, is advantageous.
