The Vocational Nursing Specialist plays a vital role in various healthcare teams, providing comprehensive clinical services that require advanced clinical judgment under the supervision of registered nurses or healthcare providers.

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Administering routine patient care.
  • Executing complex therapeutic procedures with guidance from nursing leadership.
  • Identifying and responding to acute patient distress, initiating appropriate emergency measures.
  • Conducting patient assessments and preventive care in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Implementing therapeutic interventions to support patients experiencing behavioral health challenges.
  • Ensuring a safe therapeutic environment to minimize risks.
  • Administering medications as per physician directives and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Recording and reporting essential patient information in compliance with healthcare policies.
  • Making informed decisions regarding patient care and seeking assistance when necessary.
Work Schedule: Variable hours, including rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays, to be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications:
