Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and prepare samples for laboratory analysis and testing, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, analyzers, and other instruments, to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and serology, to diagnose and monitor patient conditions.
  • Enter and release test results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and communicating with clients and healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities, including proficiency testing and instrument calibration, to ensure the highest level of laboratory performance.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and other departments to ensure seamless workflow and efficient laboratory operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, techniques, and procedures, and apply this knowledge to improve laboratory performance and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience, preferably in a veterinary or medical laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, healthcare professionals, and laboratory staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
