Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Supervisor to lead our Flow Cytometry team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the department, distributing work, determining priorities, and scheduling non-routine procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the work of the section to maximize employee, equipment, and material utilization within budgetary constraints.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule work to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Perform advanced/specialized tests and other related laboratory techniques.
  • Check and approve all specialized and problem reports for accuracy.
  • Initiate quality-control measures and monitor quality of work for adherence to laboratory standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a biological, chemical, or physical science from an accredited institution.
  • Four to six years of full-time experience as a medical technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory.
  • Previous supervisory experience and experience in Flow Cytometry are required.
