Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor industry trends, product advancements, and competitor activities regarding pricing and sales.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including preparing sales budgets, maintaining sales records, and filing expense reports.
  • Consult with clients to address issues and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate meetings with prospects, sales, and current customers in collaboration with the VP of Sales/Customer Service.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in account management, including setting appointments, customer presentations, and closing deals.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and account management within the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.
  • A recent degree in Marketing or a Business-related field is required.
  • Previous experience in an analytical role or pricing function is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend business processing requirements and devise innovative technological solutions.
  • Experience in B2B sales involving complex transactions is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the sales planning process.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer relations abilities.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
