Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator and Project Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator and Project Coordinator to join our team at Disability Solutions in Dallas, Texas. As an integral part of our commercial roofing division, you will be responsible for preparing estimates, managing projects, and ensuring seamless communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
About the Role
- As a senior estimator, you will analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate material quotes, labor requirements, and project pricing.
- You will work closely with project managers, purchasing, and management to evaluate bids, select vendors, and determine cost effectiveness.
- Additionally, you will maintain a centralized cost estimating database, identify cost trends, and support management in reducing costs and improving processes.
- Apart from estimation, you will also coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers' representatives to resolve issues and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Precise analysis of blueprints and specification interpretations to prepare detailed estimates.
- Collaboration with project managers to evaluate bids, finalize project pricing, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Maintenance of a comprehensive cost estimating database, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Identification of cost-saving opportunities and implementation of process improvements.
- Effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation, preferably with a background in construction or related field.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to travel occasionally and work in a fast-paced environment.
