Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will assist licensed nurses and medical staff in providing high-quality patient care, while promoting a positive and compassionate patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient data, vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Answer call lights and complete patient rounds to ensure timely and efficient care
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharge
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to patients, promoting dignity and comfort
  • Comply with Baylor Scott and White Health policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Experience: Less than 1 Year of Experience
  • Certification/License/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
