Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and meeting the needs of families and significant others. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse or other medical staff, this position performs various patient care duties, including helping with activities of daily living (ADL), collecting and recording patient data, and maintaining patient files and forms.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and ADLs
  • Answer call lights and complete patient rounds
  • Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharge
  • Take care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean-up
  • Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures

Qualifications
