CAD Automation Engineer

At Apple, we're looking for a skilled CAD Automation Engineer to join our team. As a CAD Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to reduce design workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and support automation solutions to reduce design workload
- Develop and maintain in-house UI for visualizing and monitoring large workloads
- Develop utilities to extract, track, and manage metrics data from analysis flows
- Collaborate with CAD and design teams to integrate flows into the system and develop QA flows
Requirements:
- Knowledge of VLSI design fundamentals and design flows for custom and ASIC designs
- Programming language experience in Perl or Python
- Knowledge of basic ML algorithms and LLM fundamentals
- Minimum requirement of BS degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in completing/delivering projects on time
- Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities
- Ability to perform well on schedules and coordinate with cross-functional team members
- High ownership, self-driven, hands-on individual to drive quality across the project
