Architect and Automate CAD Design Workflows

As a CAD Flow Automation Engineer at Apple, you will design and implement automation solutions to streamline CAD design workflows, reducing design workload and improving efficiency. You will work closely with CAD and design teams to integrate their flows into the system and develop robust QA flows to check resulting data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation solutions to reduce design workload
  • Develop and enhance an in-house UI to simplify visualizing and monitoring large workloads
  • Develop utilities to extract, track, and manage metrics data from analysis flows
  • Develop rich dashboards for design teams to access detailed information
  • Check data consistency and quality of design analysis results
  • Interface and collaborate with multiple CAD/design teams
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of VLSI design fundamentals and design flows for custom and ASIC designs
  • Programming language experience in Perl or Python
  • Knowledge of basic ML algorithms and LLM fundamentals
  • Minimum requirement of BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in completing/delivering projects on time
  • Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities
  • Ability to perform well on schedules and coordinate with cross-functional team members
  • High ownership, self-driven, hands-on individual to drive quality across the project
  • Proficient with programming languages like Python, Perl, C++, etc.
  • Strong object-oriented programming, problem-solving, and communication skills
