This part-time hybrid position is based in Sherman Oaks and involves working closely with clients to enhance their life skills across multiple domains. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their personal aspirations through tailored coaching and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development and enhancement of essential skills that align with clients' personal goals.
- Focus areas include academic achievement, vocational readiness, independent living, social interaction, and overall health and wellness.
- Provide coaching in diverse environments, including office settings, client residences, educational institutions, and community venues.
- Utilize virtual coaching methods with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field is required.
- Preferred candidates will possess a Master's degree and be a Registered Intern with the BBS, with opportunities for supervised licensure hours.
- A minimum of two years of experience in social services or special education is essential.
- Experience working with young adults with special needs is highly valued.
- A valid California Driver's License, along with a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record, is mandatory.
