About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Entrance Desk Agent at the Multnomah Athletic Club. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, guests, and employees, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous and respectful interactions with members, guests, and employees, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Enforce club policies and procedures, educating members on rules and regulations as needed.
  • Manage access to the club, monitoring entrances and exits, and notifying the Manager on Duty of any unapproved entries.
  • Assist members with signing in social and athletic guests, applying fees when necessary, and providing directions for meetings and events within the club.
  • Contact the appropriate department or staff member to assist members and guests with needs such as handcarts, wheelchairs, or taxi services.
  • Use the overhead paging system according to club policy and perform key communication functions during medical, fire, and other emergencies.
  • Issue overnight parking passes and validate parking passes as needed.
  • Follow all club safety policies and procedures, identifying and reporting unsafe conditions, and reporting workplace injuries and illnesses to a supervisor.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Diplomatic and effective communication skills, with the ability to read, learn, and retain a significant amount of information.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to work with a variety of software systems.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, as necessary.
  • Previous experience with customer service preferred but not required.
