Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Westin Portland Harborview. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Register guests, handle room reservations, and provide accurate information about hotel services and facilities.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the front desk computer system, manage room assignments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and maximize room revenue.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on customer service and front desk operations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including room management, reservations, and guest services.
